- Fill up Monday–Tuesday — prices often rise mid-week after the weekly government price update
- EKO and Petrolina loyalty cards give 2–4 cents/litre back on purchases
- Avoid motorway stations — they typically charge 5–8 cents more per litre
- LPG is available at select stations and is by far the cheapest option if your car supports it
